Please let us upgrade the Ambuscade Capes like Escha gear. I'm talking about the need to trade 60 times just to upgrade this cape 1 upgrade at a time lol. xD

It's not a mistranslation unfortunately. When they made the system, there were several things missing for it to have been safe for the devs to allow multiple upgrades per trade. Like no way to change upgrade path IIRC without restarting from 0.
They've also said that it would take as much work to accomplish it now, as it would to implement new battle content... It would be easier for them to delete the current NPC and replace it with a new one built from scratch, than it would be to change anything not designed to be changing monthly anyway.

“That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die.”
Can they just make it so he can store the dye, sap, thread etc stuff?
From that can have like a double confirmation like selling in AH has when we pick a augment.
Also can choose how many upgrades with that item we want.
Would fix the problem.
The needles are one of the things that was not included at launch, and so was not accounted for in the design. (I was talking about the state that "Ambuscade" was in for that first month or two.) Honestly, I'd bet that devs are probably kicking themselves for designing the augment system the way they did, but if it was something that was feasibly fixable, then they would have caved to the vocal pressure from both sides of the forums long ago. (Even if just to shut us up. lol)

Hello, everyone!
Previously, we mentioned that although we understood how it can be tedious, it was implemented this way to stress the need to be careful with what you're trading when augmenting your Ambuscade Capes.
With that said, the following adjustment is under consideration based on everyone's feedback.
We are looking into a system where only the first item traded will determine the parameter to upgrade and everything after that can be handed over all at once. There is a limit to the number of upgrade items that can be obtained in one month from Ambuscade, so in order to keep the risk of making a mistake to a minimum, we are planning on dividing the process into two steps:
- Regarding item exchanges when upgrading Ambuscade job mantles:
We are hoping to have this system implemented after summer of next year!
- First, trade the correct upgrade item for determining the parameter.
- Next, trade multiples of the first upgrade item in order to further upgrade the parameter.
Furthermore, we are looking into a system where items that have already been exchanged will be removed from the list just like when hallmarks and gallantry are consumed.
- Regarding the exchange list for accumulated hallmark points:
When this was first implemented, the number of points obtained were low, so the current system was made assuming that items would be exchanged in order. However, looking at recent trends, we have determined that exchanges rarely take place in order and have decided to make the system align more with player behavior.
This system is being adjusted for implementation early next year.
We are making adjustments to make both a reality, but depending on the results, there is always a possibility that they cannot be implemented, so please bear this in mind.
Once again, thank you for your feedback!
