    Does FFXI Not Work in Windows 10?

    So I'm unable to launch the game because it claims I need direct x 8.1, however, whenever I try to install direct x 8.1 computer just instantly says it is done. How do I fix this? Can I fix this? Am I just screwed or are devs working on a solution?

    Nevermind, it seems turning on "legacy component: directplay" fixes the issue.
