I think it'd be cool if they could tie in some of the previous bosses from older FF games... if they stay away from overdoing it with character villains (i.e. NO SEPHIROTH)...

Jenova, Necron, Ozma, Nemesis, Penance, WarMech, Humbaba (rename that loser gigas NM), etc...
