The "Reason" (i say "reason" because i think its Bullcrap) is because most Exp Alliance Suck so bad, that they can't possibly survive without Keeping Nothing but Blue Boxes spawning to barely scrape enough time to stay in.

Basically, Gimp Leaders invite Gimp People who Gimp the party and they can't handle Red Boxes spawning because they're too gimp to kill fast enough to not time out because of it.

It interferes with time extensions maaaaan. Cause leaving Abyss with anything less than 600 minutes on the clock isn't allowed.

Correct, a few ruby is quite healthy for most things in Abyss and you need ruby chests to cap out EXP and Cruor yields totally. If you have someone who keeps insisting that they Physical WS kill things in your group though, particularly at the start of an EXP session, thats where problems can start.
