Would it be possible to add the functionality to Dual-Box from one screen/character?

If you're talking about controlling two different handles from one computer, I think it would be better to just have you input both account's login info from one machine. If you allow 1 handle to control a secondary one that's logged in through another machine, you have to be very careful about security. Would run the risk of a hacker possessing other characters at whim if they figured out how to get the server to ok the possession of other handles.
That being said I'm not sure they would allow this, or would want to spend the time recoding the login scripts / game scripts. Also brace yourself b/c I'm sure as soon as they wake up the trolls are going to jump all over this.

Yeah, they would have to create a system that linked the two separate characters during log in via a new type of log in functionality. I'll need some time to put together an example, but I just wanted to see what kind of challenges this idea would run into.

I doubt any negativity would get to you, you seem (I don't mean insult by this) like you would bleed prosac and rainbows if I cut you. I can see where you're coming from. This would help wife/husband combos, friends helping offline friends, as well as people who just want to duo with/PL themselfs.

It would be alot of work to impliment something like this though, and not just from the control standpoint.

/lmao ><; I try to stay as positive as possible, just make sure you never see me in traffic one day ^^; since rainbows would be the last thing you think of in regards to me at that point

I just wonder if SE has considered this at all for all the dual-boxers that play FFXI, plus the extra dollars it might create from mass amounts of newly created characters for this purpose. I'm sure it would be extensive work to implement, but it would be nice to focus on one controller instead of two.
