Over on Reddit, we held a server survey. This also included server merges as a question. It has over 200 results after only 2 days (it's still ongoing), and server merges are desired.

Any kind of surveys should only be taken by those who have registered/active accounts in my opinion.
There are a few things that I have mentioned in the past that would need to be looked at before any kind of merging:
- Ambuscade entry.
- High-Tier Battlefield Entry.
- The fact that only a few areas are now used.
So we would need a new system to allow for less congestion, we would also need new and expanded CP camps in other areas (additional APEX mobs added for example).
It's a bit more complicated than simply just merging all players in to x number of server(s).
Sorry, I don't want 10 people on my server deciding what everyone else wants.

Google Forms gives a spreadsheet as results, so you can view the data in any result set needed. If I take out "I do not currently play" from the result set, 64% voted yes on server merges. If anyone wants access to this Google Sheet, just let me know. In a few months down the road, I'll probably review the results again and see how they look.

Yeah, would be nice if such a survey could be added to the server login message to a get a somewhat more accurate picture. They said they'd hold off until the majority of players called for it at the AMA, but as everyone knows that's asking for the damn near impossible. Good luck even getting 10% or more of a game's community to post on a message board.
Game just needs cross-server like WoW
