Macros load up slow on PC but fast on Xbox 360

Well i'm playing on the PC at the moment and when I hit CTRL or Alt, I have to hold them down for a few seconds for them to pop up and I have to hold the button cause if I don't, it'll go away.

On the Xbox 360 I just tap it once and the Macro tab opens instantly and stays out.
Is there anyway to change this? I want mine like it is on the Xbox 360.

It is that way by design. On my PC, I use a PS2 controller via a USB, and they pop right up and lock on screen until I cancel or hit the L2/R2 buttons again. In the PC version, there are shortcuts for <ctrl> + letter to open various menus (<ctrl>+i opens Items), and Windows also has the Alt-Tab thing going as well--the delay may be to avoid issues with using shortcut keys. On the consoles, you don't have anything competing with the function of the controller buttons--if you set up the PC to use a controller, it should behave the same as the console when opened by the controller's buttons. Also, if you know the macro combo, you don't have to wait for the macro bar to show up to use them on the keyboard (ie, hiiting <CTRL>+1 fires off Stun on my BLM right away).
