I already know the real reason.
Why isn't there an Indi-Blind and Geo-Blind????
Geo-Para and Geo-Slow exist....

Well, functionally they'd be the same thing as -Voidance and -Slip, with the possible exception of working on Peiste mobs that have triggered effects based on blind, which they probably don't want a guaranteed way of doing that without worrying about macc anyway.
Obviously gaze is the real reason. I want to hear their lie though.
They don't need a lie, you have it, Indi/Geo-Slip. It functions the exact same minus a small amount of enemies.
It's an important distinction between acc- and blind. Indi-para could've had a different name. Indi-slow could've had a different name. Indi-Gravity could've had a different name. Just like there's no indi-frazzle and indi-distract, yet those spells do exist, langour and torpor.
Why change the name for half the spells, and not the other half.
If the lie is so blind and slip can stack, ind-paralyze and indi-slow stack but dont need new names. (unless they dont in which case they need to change the names so para and indi-newname stack.)
Continuity.

para and slow are the names of the effect as well and came out at the same. There are currently no other names for those effects so makes sense that those would use that name. Frazzle and distract were spells created recently to apply an effect that already existed and they didn't want you casting magic accuracy down spell because that would look dumb. Game is 14 years old. Employees cycle and naming schemes change deal with it. Plus didn't frazzle/distract come out after geo?
Why they did slip instead of blind there are a couple of reasons reasons.
1) Already mentioned but it's different mechanically in some situations.
2) geo was designed to be as much as possible to have buffs with opposite effect of a debuff so that the spells can be in pairs. While there are some exceptions those exist just because there was no real corresponding effect (see paralyze). The truest opposite of acc up would be acc down not blind
