It is any equipment. It just boosts chances of getting gear over acorns or blue beds or whatever. In the past I've gotten drops from hard battlefields etc so you can get 119 gear, it's just not common.

There is both a wanted dial AND an increased chance of EQ from the regular special dial this campaign.

Using the special dial by paying daily tally points will have an increased rate of gear drops.
Using SP gobbie keys during the campaign will also benefit from the increased chance of gear.

edit: I mean that both of the above apply during the Wanted Dial campaign.

There are currently 4 kinds of dial campaigns, as follows:

SP Dial Campaign: Once per day, players will obtain a Dial Key SP. The equipment rate from the dial is unchanged.
Adoulin Dial Campaign: Adoulin dial is added to the mystery box and the equipment rate is increased.
Wanted Dial Campaign: Wanted dial is added to the mystery box and the equipment rate is increased.
Abjuration Dial Campaign: Once per day, players will obtain a Dial Key Ab. The equipment rate from the dial is unchanged.

Simply put, for campaigns where an extra type of dial is added to the box, the equipment rate will be increased.

It’s also worth noting when using Dial Key SPs, players also receive equipment at a higher rate than usual.

As you can see from the translation there is some ambiguity and most likely should be interpreted as just those dials are being increased. This makes a bit of sense considering the ones that do say no increase are ones it would be pointless to increase as the key already increases and the abj key can't get equipment.

Also noted that the notes for this campaign just say special dial yield more equipment not and using keys. Most likely it's bringing it up to keys level
