Ambuscade can also provide jse accessories like waist neck ammo.
@se why did you forgive hp/mp on ambuscade equipment ?

I don't think Ambuscade really needs to add any new gear, other then maybe waist pieces would be nice. Augmented Waist pieces would be great since many of the best waist pieces are in awkward outdated areas that most can't solo like vagary, woe lvl 120, incursion
It takes a lot of grinding to get 4 or more jobs done with capes, so to me this is enough right here. There is always a benefit to doing ambuscade even if you got all the gear and cape augments. Lots of HMP and other valuable items to gain for profit just for helping others.
Not what it means at all! The development team first would like to give those that may have missed out on previous months’ Ambuscade rewards by implementing these tickets, but they are also actively working on creating new equipment to be added to Ambuscade after this.
Also, as another quick note, the tickets that can be purchased through Ambuscade will require the same amount of points as usual.

Hey Camate,
Can we get confirmation if the tickets will require Hallmarks or if they will require Gallantry?
Gallantry are kind of a pain to gather.
The tickets will actually be available for total Hallmarks only. These tickets will only be exchangeable for all of the Ambuscade equipment introduced thus far, and not for any other type of items.
While I mentioned that we would be adding new equipment after September, we’ll be looking into methods so that these previous sets can still be obtained by those who missed prior months. However, there is a possibility that we do not limit this to Hallmarks and may do something different.

I'm not saying that making the older sets accessible to players who missed them is a bad thing. In fact, I think that using tickets to allow people to choose which pieces they want is a great idea.
I'm lamenting the fact that September is going to have considerably less appeal for those of us who already have all the existing sets. Being able to exchange the tickets for something would be nice.
Well, you can still make yet another cape for some job or another since many are BIS at least. ^^;; Or make money off of selling upgrade mats. Or help out some freshly 99'd sparks geared returnee. Or simply enjoy the breathing room given by a month w/ no pressure to get yet another set of armor that you are likely to toss at the porter moogle once you get some good Reisenjima augs. XD
You'll still get the benefit of every other "Total Hallmarks" loot, just a lack of armor rewards. Plenty of other reasons to dive in.
I like the idea of adding waist pieces but can SE also add neck & ammo slot pieces to the armour list too?
In terms of the new tickets, I'm quite disappointed. I wished I could get my body/head/legs +1 for the pieces I missed using these vouchers. I think that all +1 vouchers are the same price (1000 hallmarks, say) & purchasable via hallmarks, not total hallmarks. The new waist/neck/ammo pieces will be via total hallmarks next time.

OK, so, we've gotten all 5x sets of Salvage gear (plus a catch-up month), and the assumption everyone is making right now is that the 3x Assault sets are next up... But what's coming after that? >_>;;
Assuming there is another catch-up month w/ vouchers for the new sets, that gives us a total of 10 months accounted for.. The impression I've gotten from dev feedback is that Ambuscade is going to be running on an annual cycle, so what's going to happen with the last two months? Even one month is used for a full catch-up (all vouchers available), that still leaves one orphan month..
Devs: Is the current plan to continuously add new sets/vouchers from now on, while not repeating and basically ignoring the calendar? Or if Ambuscade is intended to be a repeated annual cycle, what are you going to fill the 11th/12th months with?
Was chatting w/ LS earlier about this and came up with the idea to fill that 11th month with an updated RSE set. (Since there was no head, perhaps a non-displayed one like a hairpin could be used to fill out the set.)
Similar to the originals, it should be "All Jobs" with appearance varying based on race. Wearing the full set would give even stats across the board (all attributes +100ish) with a solid chunk of HP/MP, and enough of the baseline ilvl stats to be competitive with gear from other 119-125 content. If there are concerns that an "All Jobs" set could impact balance, then maybe go with a defensive focus with "Damage Taken -%, higher-end MDB, Regen/Refresh and "Resist all elements" spread out over the set, but include enough direct combat stats (specifically accuracy, magic accuracy, ranged accuracy, evasion, magic evasion and haste) for the set to be useful to players who are trying to get into 119-125 content regardless of their current job, but generalized enough so that there are still plenty of clear/obvious upgrades to hunt down for each job. A leg up for all newer players and a potential space-saver for experienced ones. It could also be amusing to see everyone running around in basically their starter/onion gear once again.
I'm sure there would be concerns over receiving the wrong race's gear for some if all choices were displayed in the reward menu, so some form of racial check would have to be performed to only display equipable gear. If it would not be possible to implement a racial check within the rewards menu itself, then I think it would be best to use vouchers which could be traded in for the appropriate piece based on player race. The voucher system could allow for a simple race check without having to alter the coding of the base rewards menu itself.
