    security one time password question

    i have a question about the one time password. when the battery runs out, which hopefully wont happen for a long time, but if it does, how do u log in, will it shut you out for having it setup that way?

    Mine has lasted for almost 10 years. I think there is an app you can get anyway from SE? I could be wrong.

    SE's login page

    If you go to SE's login page, then click on "How to remove the Software Token from your account" and type your login information they will send an email to your associated email account with an emergency removal password to remove the token.
