    Adjustments to JSE gear please

    As important as Artifact/Relic/Empyrean JSE gear is they are getting a bit dated and obsolete now as a lot of the new gear lately has much more added accuracy and attack, can we please have an update to our gear pieces to add the extra 30+ accuracy and attack so our JSE gear can be used in Apex partys?

    i couldn't agree more, i think even a another reforge like our legendary weapons got to bring our JSE's up to par with todays standards. Many jobs rely on their job traits and abilities that these sets do something with but for most you have to choose to either hit stuff or support your jobs special traits.

    They are doing a repeat of the old game progression. AF weaker than Relic, Relic weaker than Empyrean, Empyrean weaker than HQ Battlefield gear.

    You didn't use your Artifact at lvl 75, except as slot-in situational macro pieces. The same is true now, I use most of the Reforged AF as slot-in situational macro pieces, for Enfeebling Skill bonuses etc.

    The JSE sets are 119 stop-gap gear designed to help you along the path to more powerful gear, and also situational slot-in macro pieces you can use when you're full-timing HQ Battlefield gear.

    This is the same as in the old game, where it was rare to see anyone fulltiming AF at 75. Using 5/5 Reforged AF does give you a lot of powerful bonuses already, it is just < Relic, < Empy, < HQ Battlefield gear. Same way it always was.

    The accuracy issue is a separate issue, because in the old game you had certain mobs and NMs with high evasion, whereas now it seems that all higher level mobs are Evasion Queens, even if they are huge and slow-moving by nature.

    But my issue with that statement is that some jobs need specific bonuses that can't really be obtained on generic endgame gear. Also back in 75 days a great deal of jobs main equipment had quite a few pieces of relic in the mix, even when 99 cap was around most used multiple pieces of empy as they live up to their name of job specific gear which helped the job and its abilities/traits. I find by the game being based so heavily on generic gear with a lotto augment system is stripping away individuality of jobs and making most DD's generic along with mages. The only thing that makes some jobs stand out is their job points or abilities that makes them more favorable then others.

    If they would allow a final reforge it would allow jobs to shine through with their character traits, Its like when you see a DRG wearing all acc gear which means their wyvern has NO support during the fight other then jobpoints.

    I think the best thing to do would be like what they did with the Oboro JSW's and trade an NPC with 300 Plutons or something that will add the extra accuracy needed so the gear can actually be somewhat useful in newer endgame content. basically you may want to use empyrean set bonuses when meleeing apex mobs however you never get the accuracy to land the hits in the first place. also summoner really needs staff to be changed from B to A or A+, it's our main weapon and we cant hit anything.

    But at the same time the mythos of summoner talks about barely being able to talk with Carbuncle without the use of the carby mitts and now summoners are talking with all the avatars on a first name basis. I think summoners have come far enough to have a proper understanding of summoning magic. Also considering how much work it took Windy to summoner fenrir to help them and he is nothing more then a summoners play thing now.
