Heya guys,

I'm not so sure if anyone would reply on this post. I just got back into Final Fantasy XI early this morning after retiring Final Fantasy XIV ARR for good. I was wondering though since I'm currently in the Asura server, I would like to ask which of the servers are still active after PS2 and Xbox Live shut down their servers (I play PC for a long time since 2004!).

Or, if anyone on Asura is still alive an active, I'm looking for a Linkshell that's social and casual. I have 4 jobs at 99 which are SAM, DRG, NIN, and DRK, and starting tonight, I will take WAR up to 99.

My character name is Civiline and I been playing this game for almost 12 years. So if anyone out there who still plays, I need to know which of the FFXI servers are most active, and is there any Linkshell if I plan not to transfer out of Asura that I can join.

Odin = More Japanese
Asura = More English speakers

I am on Odin I like it and I am comfy but I hear great things about Asura as well. If I were you I would try to get into the Reddit ls if you are on Asura.

I haven't joined Reddit, but how safe is that site really?

Asura is very busy and like 90%+ english speaking players.

THANK YOU!!!!! At least I am still on Asura then by tonight I can go find a LS that's still active unless I check those Linkshell NPCs. ^^

Just do a google search of FFXI Asura Reddit they have tons of events and will definitely have you geared and flourishing in no time. I think there is some sort entrance thing for Reddit but I believe that ls is super helpful and the biggest event / get help LS on Asura and probably the biggest English speaking ls among all servers.

Alright thank you. I'll get sign up by tonight once I get home from work. I just hope WAR is not a dead job cause I am planning to finish up my PLD, MNK WHM and WAR up to 99.

Sadly PLD and WHM are your only choices end game isn't very kind to any melee class.
