i'm not a guru of ffxi but i have clearly read that ps2 have some limit of screen space that can be used, mostly i suppose for the limited resolution.
and i dont know if its true or not, but the 80 item limit must been due to some tech issue.

Only the phoenix arises and does not descend. And everything changes. And nothing is truly lost.
Haha "Mog European Shoulder Bag" made me laugh. XD
But seriously, I wouldn't mind more inventory space to be implemented somehow... Though I feel like no matter what I'm always going to run out of room in the end. :/ I mean I felt like I would never run out space once I got the sack, but within a week I filled it up lol.
Personally my main problem is with all the abyssea seals I'm hoarding up for all my jobs. ^^; How come we can't have more magian trials open at the same time? That would perhaps fix that problem.

Very true, Burmecia. I can feel your pain with the sack. I have almost over half of my sack inventory filled with job seals, and the other portion with various +2 items.
I also would like to see more Magian trial slots, but I suppose that is another time for another thread.Personally my main problem is with all the abyssea seals I'm hoarding up for all my jobs. ^^; How come we can't have more magian trials open at the same time? I'm sure everyone is holding NM drops(ie: Carabose-Gems) for Magian weapon upgrades. Most us are considering tackling this quest. So we are collecting these items now. Many of these items can't be stored on the npc at least until you at are that point of the quest. The fact that they are not stackable, like the level 90 Magain items needed, is a area which can be easily addressed. Just make them stackable, it makes no sense that they're not.
Think it'd be nicer if some stuff got their own inventory like the automaton parts get their own. While this in no way fixes our lack of storage space, it may alleviate it a bit.
Linkshells: Linkshells when used should then be added to the Linkshell menu instead of kept in inventory. From here depending on the person's authority within the shell (sackholder, etc.) the person may create new pearls, drop the pearl, switch to the pearl, or whatever normal options we have regarding pearls. The inventory pearl would be deleted and instead in our linkshell menu we'd just have our list of pearls that we've used. I know some people with multiple pearls for either socials or events and this would be a welcome addition.
Currency and seals: Ever see how we carry hundreds to millions of gil and it's all in a little text box? Why can't the other currencies be like this? I propose something similar to what I proposed for linkpearls for currency and seals. For these items, make them usable and when they are, ask for an amount to be used (for convenience) and then add it to a little text box. The current gil text box could have a drop down menu that allows to change currencies to view your current totals for what you'd like to see. Similarly, the trade and delivery box could have similar drop down menus for transferring of these items (the box menu would convert it to an item again automatically as it does with gil). Also allow for an option to re-make them into items for bazaaring purposes.
I'm sure there are situations I haven't thought off but this is just a proposal and would have to be tweaked as necessary. We need to think about different methods of alleviating our storage woes rather than just expanding the size and numbers of our bags (although I don't mind if they do so)!
I'd be happy if we could just access storage from any mog house, or nomad moogle. I've pretty much avoided using furniture on my main character because I'm rarely in Windy. It sucks storing something, and then realizing that you need it, and have to make an unnecessary trip to your home nation. Granted getting home isn't as time consuming as it once was, but I'd still rather be playing the game, than having to go out of my way to get prepared.
Although it does seem like we should have plenty inventory space with the addition of the Mog Sack (and soon the ability to store more types of seals), I wouldn't mind another 80 slots.
I would also really love to see this happen. I have never really used the Mog House Storage except for misc. items such as seals, upgrade items, etc as it was a nuisance and a time sink to have to go all the way back to your nation each and every time you wanted something from the storage (even if it only really takes 5 minutes). Our moogles can warp back to the mog house for gardening, so why couldn't they do the same for storage items?
Make the Mog House bigger! Add a couple of few rooms (perhaps through quests/NM hunting as per Synthetic Atma and gil expenditure or crafting).
Enable us to store Ex items in it on an unlimited basis.
Share this expanded house with all characters on the account (compliments the forthcoming Ex item sharing w/chars on yr account).
Be able to put weapons/armour on racks around the place as standard (without having to buy mannequins, or have them take up so much floorspace).
Overall furniture placement limited by visible floorspace rather than take up slots in the Mog House (bearing in mind that you'd still have to balance out your Moghancements).
idk, I just feel a little cooped up being a champion of Vana'Diel and having such a small room
Also, slightly sad that the majority of my event furniture sits in the event item storer.
