Error when launching the game

So I downloaded and installed the whole game on my windows 10 laptop and let it update. I am able to log into the playonline viewer and the play Final Fantasy XI icon shows. I click on it, i get the message about your rl health and duties, and when the game launches, I get the following error



I looked and some people have been having the same issue, but I have not found any solutions

edit: img didnt load properly. error msg says the feature you are trying to use is on a CD ROM or other removable disk that is not available.

Insert the "Scan" disk and click OK

I downloaded the client so I dont know where to go from here.
