I agree mnk AF3 legs doesn't match with the rest of the set. However, I like how they look, lol.

Sooooo mismatched :/
Make the pants blue, and flames gold. The end.
Um... yeah,, and that's the point? Not needing to use different textures and animations would save disk space/memory?
Texture A and texture B of the same object do NOT use the same amount of disk space. They recycle stuff because
1) (models) The same model/object can be made to look many different ways with different skins (Using the same model saves disk space
2) (textures) The same texture can be used in many different places without people noticing, or where they notice, without them caring Using the same texture many times saves both disk space (from not using a different texture) and memory (The same texture used multiple times only needs to be loaded once)
3) (animations) The same animation can be used with many different objects. Using the same animation instead of a new one also saves disk space.
Reusing art assets is not about a lack of ideas, it's about efficiency.
You've been pwned. Next.
You are wrong. The models, textures, and animations all use the same file.
Internet super hero up in hereYou've been pwned. Next.
You clearly have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and you know nothing about how the data files and data in general works. Different textures do NOT use the same file unless they are both in the same dat file. And even then, the dat file's size is the total size of all the things inside of it anyway, so it doesn't matter if it's the same file or not, it still takes up more space if there are more textures. You are wrong. The models, textures, and animations all use the same file.
DAT files are archives. They contain multiple peices of information within them, yes. But the individual pieces of information within them vary in size. Different textures have different sizes, different models have different sizes, and this results in DAT files that have different sizes (Ignoring the fact that different DAT files have different amounts of objects in them).
Please, stop posting stuff like what you said. You're only making yourself look worse with each post- but since you seem to be intentionally trying to get yourself banned anyway, I guess it doesn't matter. Even using your own logic, that the "same file" is being used, this isn't more efficient how?

Yeah, each piece of equipment/area/WS/etc. has it's own .DAT file. So as someone mentioned earlier, both Kasha and Fudo have their own .DAT file housing their own animation and effects. So while the animation is the same, no disk space is saved because of the redundant information.
While he is right that it is about efficiency. It's much cheaper and faster to modify equipment/textures/areas/etc. than create new ones. And considering the dev team probably consists of 3 members now, it's about the only choice they have.
