controoler Help

I am new and have probably over looked something but were do I set up controllers

I'm on windows7 and I'm trying to set up my PS4 controller I know it works on other games but were do I go for ff11?

I been on hold with SE for 24 min now lol

Ugh I always misspell things wen I rush lol

Well SE guy did not help he just left me questing how to change the game to window mode and how to save the config settings (they keep resetting)

I ended up struggling to figure this out just today, so I feel your pain! In your File Explorer, you should be able to go to C:/Program Files (x86)/PlayOnline/SquareEnix/FINAL FANTASY XI/ and then to either ToolsEU or ToolsUS (based on your region), and there's a file there called FFXiPadConfig.exe that should be able to get your controller set up. FYI, if you hadn't been in that folder yet, I would recommend also running "FINAL FANTASY XI Config.exe" and adjusting your resolution and effect settings there (then, in the actual game, you can adjust Aspect Ratio further to get everything straightened out).
