Windurst 9-2 Mission Cutscene Crash. Can't Achieve Rank 10

Steps: 1. Complete the final fight in the Windurst 9-2 mission.
2. Return to the vestal chamber in Heavens Tower.
3. Click on the vestal chamber to receive the first cutscene.
4. Click on the vestal chamber a second time to receive another cutscene.
5. My game crashed during the second cutscene and I never received my rewards for completing the mission and now I can't achieve rank 10.
6. My mission log says I'm on Moon Reading but I can't do anything related to that quest. It's behaving like I already completed it yet I haven't received any rewards or reached Rank 10.

Have you tried the steps that came after yet?
It is possible that while your game crashed during the CS, that it did flag your progress.

Otherwise, see if you can rewatch the cutscene(s) from the Goblin Footprint and see what happens from there.

What steps are you referring to exactly? I haven't found any steps after the second cutscene that completes mission. As far as I know, once I watch that second cutscene the mission should complete and I should receive my reward and receive rank 10.

I just went and checked the goblin footprints just outside of the Moon Fountain. The only cutscenes available to me were Full Moon Fountain and Doll of the Dead. Nothing from Moon Reading.

That's odd, because even if you crashed in the middle of it you should be able to click on the door and trigger that unfinished cutscene again. Just remember to make room in your inventory for the flag or you will be unable to get it or rank up.



PS > Also, it seems third party software can crash your game on PC in some cutscenes.
