PUP endgame help?

first of all: cap all your skill....especially automaton magic...the big number outside of abyssea come from there

and you should exp sch and nin to 45 if you want to solo some stuff
pup/sch is good for nuking things, while pup/nin with whm automaton is one of the best way to solo stuff in abyssea

about equip: emp+1 set should be your priority...usually less ppl is asking pup seal so its easy to join a shout pt and lot those.
vere is a really hard goal if you do not have an ls or, at least, a static pt...
for this reason you should get stringing pummel asap...

for the attach you can view my profile on ffxiah, those are the setup i use with every automaton
same for some other piece of equip its cool to have...if u have the 3 mini-exp they have some of the best pup equip you can have

i will suggest in obtaining some trial h2h like str path and, i love those one, DA path.
burattinaio is something you should aim at, too.

for the merit you need to cap magic and melee skill, optimization and 3 point to fine tuning...a point in role reversal and ventriloqui too
i will cap str+, crit+ and h2h skill

atma: RR, VV, SS for melee setup and ultimate, beyond and MM for mage setup are some of the best atma we can use

No offense but that was a lot of old information that really isnt true anymore. Alot of your points were fine but here
1) Yes you can get big nukes out of abyssea, but with burts you get better DD sharpshooter and better soloability with valor edge.
2) Level subs to 49, not 45, youll thank me later
3) SCH can be pretty much skipped, if you cant kill it /war, dnc, or nin it wont matter. You can level it if you want for the 3 mobs you might be sleep nukeing but we are so far above them level wise now it wont matter.
4) For gear I am really tempted to say just skip verethragna. Burts are comparable dmg, and have far more utility. With stringing pummel and burts, you wont miss verethragna at all.
5) for atma, rr,gh, apoc .... or rr vv apoc
6) for merits in group 2 you can probably skip ventriloq now since we have DEA its almost completly worthless, you might even be able to skip role reversal, I know I personally havent used it 4+ months

2) obviously i was talking about the current level cap...and now there is little problem to exp a sub...no real need to hurry cause synch pt are almoast dead and, from what i can judge, the OP have just burned pup in abyssea...but i can be wrong :P

1/3) yes, SCH may be skipped now... pup90 can solo everything even without the sleep/nuke... but remember that outside abyssea we dont have awesome power and for most NM its the free hate nuke that make us the best nuker :P and i'll wait to see the new content to judge if /sch is not returning to his splendor :P and burattinaios is awesome but i still think LS will prefer other dd that can give less tp to nm and draw less hate... when i have to use pup in event, im always a nuke pup...but thats my point of view...different ppl have diifferent play style....but saying that
the nuke part of our job is to be trascured in favor of the melee one is not good either

6) i personally love role reversal and ill love to max it if SE will ever raise the merit limit. with DEA and role reversal you have a fresh mmaton and dont have to rest/use oil. vent have is use, its not the hate on the puppet the problem, but yours. with vent you can let the puppet die and then DEA it...but i admit i skipped it for 1 more point in fine tuning :P

BTW, if I spend merit points in one thing, then realise that it was a stupid decision, can I earn more merit points and put them in other categories? For all of the 11 days I played WoW, I remember screwing myself over by putting points in different talent trees so I couldn't get the final skill of the tree I followed.

While you're at it, why not go to 50+ and open up the AF quests, getting that extra level will probably only take a short time and allow you the fun of doing those storyline quests (if you are into that).

Yeah I'm planning on taking my subjobs to 50, currently have war and dnc at 45. However, I had to level those from 30-45 recently, which took about 4 days combined. At the end of that period I felt like I was going a little insane; I don't like playing dnc very much, or even subbing it if I can help it. nin I've stayed as far as I could away from, due to the fact that I've already been poor. If I have spare time (LOL!) I might level it, but for partying in aby /war seems better as a sub.

I've thought about leveling sch; might take to 30 then leech to 50. However, I really like stuff in aby so it's not that big of a priority though (though might become one if I start working on stringing pummel; nyzul isle sounds really annoying).
