how do you remove a chocobos ability, I have been trying parasite worms but no success so far.

Lethe Potage is the item you want. Parasite worms just lower stats and allow the bird to eat more.

There's plenty of people out there with cooking 63+ just get the mats and offer a small reward and you'll get someone's attention in no time.
