Connection timed out

Hello,

Unfortunately, while I was in the middle of zoning back to my home point, my connection to the server timed out. I have not been able to log back in since. Everything loads like normal until I get to the point where my character should load into the world, but I keep getting the same error "FFXI-3001 No response from the Final Fantasy XI server. Connection timed out." Any ideas as to what I can do? This has been a most unwelcoming return to the game.

never mind. I guess I just needed to be patient. It resolved itself.
