[dev1007] Voidwatch Emerges!

It's a copy of Rift invasions, no Kindred Crests or any seal type needed. Just it will spawn everywhere in the world, when a portal or something to the other planes open.

Interesting if proved to be true when the time comes.

Now, Having not played Rift, i thought those "invasions" were more like Campaign and Beseidged, Large-scale group events.

If so, I don't think its like that. The update notes specify a group size of 6-18. meaning its going to be a 1-alliance per NM fight.

If its not like the Above, then You could be right. These NMs could randomly spawn in various locations.
