Cannot trade Mog Pell to Festive Moogle

Hi, I try to trade my Green Mog Pell to the Festive Moogle, and nothing happens. I've tried trading it to the one in Port Bastok as well as Port San d'Oria.

Does anyone know why this is happening? Other members in my linkshell did not have the same problem.

I had the problem with a new mule once, and it seems like I had to wait 2 weeks. Then it worked. Just a long shot, but is the character fairly new?

Yes. Very new. Maybe that's it. I googled and looked but couldn't find anyone else with the issue. I knew the goblin keys mentioned having to wait 45 days, but didn't know if there was a 'wait time' for these.
