I forgot the sacrificial ritual to logging into POL

I use to play this ages ago and forgot whats what ID and whats what password.
Is the ID that has 4 letters and 4 numbers the POL ID (ie. AAAA1111)?
Do I use my Squaresoft password to login or is there a POL password or do I somehow have to use both passwords?

Yeah the POL ID contains 4 letters and numbers, you will have created a password with it when you registered so hopefully you remember that or you'll probably have to contact SE customer support. *Thunder clap*

You also need to associate your POL ID with your square enix account if you haven't already.

Well this makes alot more sense, Thanks bud. Looks like I get to contact support.
I was hoping on getting into the free week there running right now but honestly I think I'm just gunna go play fallout 4.
