I want to re-activate my deleted character but am unable to do so as the character reactivation service on playonline says servers are under maint.......
I checked the server status and it says it is running but it is one that is involved in the merge (Ifrit)
Is there anything that can be done or do i have to wait for servers to merge? ( I've also paid for 2 months content id and cant get onto ther server i want either)
Can anyone help?

those services were suspended until after the merge. Forget when it was posted, but it was a while back.
Since you've paid for access and cannot activate your character, might be worth it to confirm with SE whether you will have that time prepaid when you are able to reactivate later. It should be a given, but with the recent mixups with billing, it could be a problem.
