WOTG Quest Chasing Shadows - Fight

I was doing this quest with me and my son. We flag the C/S for the fight by touching the "Fresh Snowmelt", this triggered the C/S. Once the C/S was finished, we proceeded to check the "Fresh Snowmelt" a 2nd time (again), and it does not trigger the fight.


It says "It seems you have to wait a bit longer..". Now we have waited 3 Real life days as well as 3 game days (hourly), and it still hasn't allowed us to trigger this fight. Can you please look into this.

Steps:
1. Spoke to Rongelouts N Distaud for Cutscene (Cutscene Acquired)
2. Zoned to Xarcabard (S) through Beaucedine Glacier (S) (Cutscene Acquired)
3. Checked the Backfilled Pit (Cutscene Acquired)
4. Checked the Compact Footprint (Cutscene Acquired)
5. Checked the Sunken Footprint (Cutscene Acquired)
6. Checked the Compact Footprint (Cutscene Acquired)
7. Zoned into Batallia Downs (S) from Beaucedine Glacier (S) (Cutscene Acquired)
8. Checked the Fresh Snowmelt in Battallia downs (s) (Cutscene Acquired)
9. Checked the Fresh Snowmelt again.... no Monster Popped
10. Message says "It seems you have to wait a bit longer"


Every time I zone in via Beaucedine Glacier (S) to Battallia Downs (S) = result: Message says "It seems you have to wait a bit longer"
or
from the Maw from Battallia downs to Battallia Downs (S) = result: Message says "It seems you have to wait a bit longer"

Will a GM or someone who can help respond or resolve this issue.
I went to the location again.
"It seems that you will have to wait a bit longer ..."
I check 2 sources to make sure if there was anything to do to fix or resolve on my end but I have not found anything.
I check playoline.com forums and found the exact same thing happened to another player with this quest.

I would have been done for the story line had it not been for this glitch/ bug/ problem.


UPDATE: October 2, 2015 IT IS FIXED!!!!!

Report:
Either Square Enix came in and fixed the problem/Bug/Glitch.
Reason: I came online I hit the snowmelt and I got the Cutscene and the fight.

If they did not fix it.
Yesterday October 1st I did a campaign fight and got a allied tag in battlia Downs [S]. I also won the battle. and then I logged out. Today I logged in and immediately touch the snowmelt. Result: success!
