New Expansion Please

We do really need a new REAL expansion, not the crap we have been getting, the first three add-ons were total trash in terms of story I didn't like a single one of them and I'm going to be honest... I loved CoP. I completed it as it was still the main expansion and was in sea well before limbus was even announced.

I loved the story of CoP, the rest were good too but CoP stood out above all the others. Most people that "hate" CoP couldn't get it done until they nerfed it so they hate it, but even some people that has to wait until it was uncapped loved CoP's storyline.

We need large new continents and areas to explore. I think SE should just port it to the PS3... I think even the JPs would gladly welcome it. PC users always have to upgrade their machines. So why shouldn't the PS2 users... or at least launch a LARGER PS2 hard drive. SE really hasn't thought of any of this I don't think.

The reason the majority of us OLDER players are here are to see the new areas, content and see new storylines, not to farm abyssea all day and night.

PS2 HDD has custom firmware. PS2 software is programmed not to detect the hard drive unless it has that firmware, and only Sony has access to put that on the drives, and only Sony can release hardware like that. Without that firmware they were standard IDE Maxtor or IBM drives.

Also note that IDE hard drives aren't made much anymore, and the PS2 doesn't support SATA.

Production of a new drive wouldn't be worth the return either, since compatible models have been out of production since 2004 (7 years ago), and most PS2s get DRE problems after that long.
