Graphics choppy after August 2015 Update (Please Help me SE!)

I am posting because the game is not been enjoyable in terms of graphic stabilization since the August 2015 Version Update, more notably when Status Icons were given to players. When I am in a crowded area, where plenty of character models are present the graphics begins to become choppy and bothersome, causing me to not enjoy the game like I once have. I have played with the settings numerous times, and changed the registry edits to accommodate the graphics problem, but the problem still persists.

I have reason to believe the problem lies within the way the game was coded after the August 2015 version update and I am requesting a fix.

FYI. I am running a Radeon 5970 Graphics card. It has no issues as it runs other games that are graphics demanding with ease. I know Final Fantasy XI is an old game, and if that is the case why does the graphics stabilization plummet after every major update. Please help!
