It was a joke (as is MS Support).Yes, they have tech support in three different ways (FYI: They call it Microsoft Answers).
1) Retail copy: They provide you support complete and free. I'm not sure of the time period.
2) Retail and OEM: Any issue with Windows Update, as long as it is a valid copy (OEM or Retail), they will help.
3) Pay per call. I'm not sure of the price ($9.99, $19.99, ???) and if they can't fix/resolve the problem/question there is no charge.
