Future of FF11

What is in store for the future of FF11? Things just seem to be becoming slower and slower in game and not alot going on more or less things are becoming dead in game and not alot of people online. Perhaps another server merge is in order, or another expansion maybe to bring more people back into the game. I have just recently been back to the game and did the new add-on Rhapsody of Vanadiel and found it quick and too easy to complete, there is other stuff I still need to do and complete but finding help to be able to do it is difficult because either everyone else has already done it or you can't find enough people to be able to do it. A server merge would help liven things up or even implementing a system like the duty finder in ff14 to do things like skirmish, missions, wildskeeper Reives, Delve and so on instead of sitting for hours on end trying to get help doing some of those things and ending up giving up because you need to head to bed or to work or something. As much as I hate to say it cause I really have loved playing ff11 but with how dead I've been finding it while being online maybe its time to shut ff11 down completely.

Well if you want it to shut down, no worries since they are ending all content development this year, lol.

I do agree it can be difficult to find people for content. The devs have been doing their best to improve that, but there is still a lot I find I can't do because the rewards aren't good enough to entice people, or the people who are geared enough to do the content have the rewards so they don't want to do it anymore.

My advice is to focus on things that are achievable - and do try to make your own groups where you can.

Also this is the wrong forum, this is for suggestions on the website... not suggestions for the game.

Sorry I don't which forum is which for these things, I don't really want the game to be shut down I do enjoy playing it but its just so difficult to do anything on it anymore and can't find enough help to do some of the things. If they're going to be ending all content development this year then it sounds like they're already looking at shutting it down anyway.

I think they will keep it going for quite awhile if people pay for it.

Anyway I think you should consider transferring to a higher populations server... Asura is good.
