Server Forums?

Would really love to see server forums.

Me too, I'm keeping fingers crossed for a Forum update that will bring them about after the Version update and server merger.

I was thinking, the server forums shouldn't be separated by language though. Just one Forum for each server. Thoughts?

I can see the reason you would suggest it but having half the forum filled with posts you can't read is as bad as having it be a little quiet. Also as shown in general these forums have a few trolls, the JP players won't take kindly to their posts being trolled.

Language seperate is the way to go I think. Also yeah I think they are waiting for the merge to take place before adding it.

Forgive me if this has already been suggested; I did a simple search and did not return any hits.

I thought it might be useful if under one of these forums there was a Server Forum with individual forums for the remaining servers after the merge. Similar to the way 'Jobs Forum' has the different jobs listed.

Maybe make a useful way to set up some events and such. Who doesn't get tired of shouting to finish certain missions/battlefields? Just a thought...

It has been suggested before and I will have to dissagree with Emdub. These forums were not designed as a place for people recruit or chap up about general goings on on sepcific servers. These forums were made to foster ideas and suggestions and to deistibute moderated information about the game.
In short, they're not that kind of forum. It's the same reason why there should not be a PM function. It is a waste of resourses.

I agree there is no need for a PM function as I can see it being abused.

However with a specific server sub-forum it would allow a place for people to post 'shouts' rather then setting in a city all day.

People are already using the forums to "recruit or chap up about general goings on". Since the threads are not being locked/deleted I am guessing SE is ok with it. And if they are ok with it, then adding a specific sub-forum would keep the other forums more organized without those threads cluttering about.

And I still haven't found any prior threads regarding this, or I would have shamelessly bumped them too. <.<
