Looking for Linkshell PLEASE READ!

Hey guys, I am a player returning after a year or more break period.

I have a character on Asura, however I am interested in re-rolling a new character for the enjoyment of rediscovering the world of vana'diel all over again.

I am really interested in larger friendly and eventful linkshells, possibly group gathering, and events such as story based. Linkshell parties and over-all an active not too strict Linkshell!

I might even be possibly interested in RP, never done it, but it sounds fun. Preferably not however.

if you end up finding a good linkshell, that's friendly, helpful, and not full of annoying n00bs then i will be really jealous! good luck and don't give up till you find a good one!

Wow, I am really glad that I checked this, lol.

I am one of the leaders of a largeish (16+ which is a lot for that kind of shell) social LS, TheReturners. Really a wonderful bunch of people, almost always someone ready and able to get up and help someone new to the game. Lots of small grouping for events.... our shell in particular doesn't specifically do endgame events persay, however within our shell we have several leaders of specific event LSs including Abyssea, Dynamis,and Salvage. Its really nice since you will be doing these events with friends from the shell.

I was pretty excited also to read you were possibly interested in RP. Its a bit of a dying breed on XI, but I actually run the RP LS on Siren. We are one of the few groups able to say that we are still growing, with over 10 active members. Been going for around 2 years. RP experience isn't necessary and we do lots of missions surrounding the game's mission storyline, so if you want to get into the game's story and also make mission progress, head over to HTTP://vanatales.8.forumer.com. Make an account, look around, ask us questions, we are a friendly bunch.

Downside to Siren that I will tell you of now. Until the version update (May) server is closed for character creation since we are being merged. But if you can hold out a month, I am pretty sure you will find what you are looking for.

Are both the shells you are talking about the same one? Or separate?

They are two separate linkshells, although you'll see a lot of the same people in both of them. The social linkshell is strictly social... a lot of RPers hang out there when we aren't doing RPs and whatnot, but there are plenty of people in the social linkshell that are there just to hang out and talk and play. Then there is the RP shell, which is strictly RP. I'm the leader of both of them, but yeah, you'll be RPing with the same people you'll meet in the social shell.

It's kind of one community I suppose, but we divide it up into two separate linkshells so that our RP doesn't interfere with those who are just playing the game.
