Will SE just make the double rate permanent already? Another campaign announced and yet again a double EXP + CP rate.

even without campaign, 5,000 CP/kill is a lot. Ring is easy to keep on, you do know that you can mule the 150% rings right? you could do back-to-back rings. Also, you are wrong about the DEV team disagreeing with me. They obviously did not intend for that to be the way and anyone who isn't in denial of the history of the game will say so too. Originally CP was much less per kill, and it was only after they kowtowed to a few vocal people complaining that they changed it. But hey, if we're all for making this game so you can obtain things with minimal effort, how about we make all end game NMs have 10k HP, and they drop all drops 100%. Because, you know, actually putting forth legitimate effort to obtain stuff isn't what you're after, right?
and you would be wrong. 10,000 CP a kill is about 1 JP a minute. that'd be 210 minutes or 3.5 hours.
What targets? Best I could manage is about 6,000 on Tough (at level 119) skeletons in Ra'Kaznar Inner Court. That's 39% CP cape, 150% Ring, all Gifts, and probably all ROE bonuses (I still can't tell if those are retroactive; I did them all before the CP bonuses were added).
I think they kind of already have. I've stopped referring to these things as "Double Capacity Points" and referred to times when they aren't active as "Half Capacity Points Period".
It's sort of like in the U.S., how "Standard" time now comprises a minority (4 and a half months) of the year.
The ring lasts about 3 minutes, so basically double that amount of time. 7 hours. one category. Not during a campaign, double that again. 14 hours. Multiply that times the number of categories... you get the picture.
Don't like getting CP so fast? stop using all that +% gear, rings, etc. Don't like other people getting CP fast? Well then you are selfish.
