Didnt even they've released windows 10 yet as far as I knew they were still working on developing it and windows 8 was the only operating system still out at the moment!I investigate the gamepad problem again.
The installed version is Final Fantasy XI Ultimate collection from Steam.
So i dont know if the version from FFXI site is also effected.
There are differend folder for the game pad config in Tools EU / JP / US.
For me correctly is the Tools EU.
When i start the Final Fantasy XI Config tool -> Gamepad Setting - I can configure the pad.
(This tool configure the FFXiPadConfig in ToolsEU)
After the Game is loading no response (only POL was working). I tried to enable the controller in ToolsUS.
All is working now.
So the Final Fantasy XI Config tool is linking to the false controller setting tool.
The fact is POL.exe is loading the controller configuration from EU but the game FFXI is loading the settings from US.
So this must be an bug maybe since the language drop.
I can now also say Final Fantasy XI is fully playable in Windows 10. (before the installation you must enable in Windows Feature -> Legacy -> DirectPlay
(Thx for solving the problem with Ultra HD resolution in the last Post.)
(The Forum has an bug too please Merge US and EN EU.)
