Started it and completed it today. Was great when it was just me and an LSmate, then naturally slowed down when a few more showed up and just started WSing and "hoping for the best". Thankfully that "Spam your WS's as fast as you can" goal ended up being a sort of mercy-pass each time it came around.

It's like when you have to beat up one of the other kids on the playground so that the cool kids will let you hang out with them. Well, they're hanging out and you're allowed to be there. But that's totally the same thing, right? Right?

not sure with the problem here. Done the event today about 1 hour, already got my kupofried minion and moved on. lol
Not at all having a go at you Camate, you're clearly only the messenger, but this is simply the latest in a continuing line of example of SE's developers' total disconnect from the realities of the playerbase over the last several years .. expecting 'team work' in an open-world event is simply ludicrous, even FFXIV's devs. realised this when they implemented open-world stuff in that game, mostly.
In all MMOs now open-world events can be nothing more than DPS zergs, and entirely NOT GROUP BASED, otherwise it'll simply be one big FAIL; sad to those who enjoyed the 1990s group-or-die content that FFXI copied in the early years, but the reality in 2015 is that type of game is pretty much dead, stop trying to resurrect it.
