Camate replied to do this to fix the 3001 error bug:
Set router to allow the following packets to pass
TCP 25,80,110,443 & 50000-65535
TCP 1024-65535
UDP 50000-65535
Router
ASUS RT-N66R
I accessed the router controls and turned off the firewall and the IPv6 firewall. Did not help. The control panel for those two had the following:
Network Services Filter Table:
Source IP (blank)
Port Range (blank)
Destination IP (blank)
Port Range (blank)
(max limit 32)
IPv6 Firewall:
Inbound Firewall Rules:
Service Name (blank)
Remote IP/CIDR (blank)
Local IP (blank)
Port Range (blank)
Now, here's the $64 question:
Of those numbers Camate gave us for the packets,
WHAT NUMBER GOES INTO WHAT SPACE??????????
Currently, they are all blank, and I turned off the router firewalls.
The Windows firewall is still active AND "PlayOnline Viewer" is an exception there!
If anyone can help me set this the way Camate said, please reply. However, I turned off the router firewalls, so shouldn't there be NO PACKET FILTERING AT ALL??????
Btw, I like your logo, Karby.
