    Playonline Viewer

I am unable to use Playonline Viewer. When I use the mouse or tab button, the system will register my movement but will default back to the top position. It will not register left or right clicks on my mouse. I can use enter to access the menu, but I am unable to enter the playonline ID or one time password. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I am thinking my only option is to uninstall FFXI and try again.

It sounds like you have controller input enabled, and it is detecting a controller press forcing the menu upwards.

You were right. I just unplugged my controller and moved it to a different USB port. That seemed to fix it. Thanks for the advice.

Is it a wireless controller perchance? My last wireless controller broke a few months ago. I couldn't find any more of that model so I tried others. Bought and returned 2 different controllers that were terrible before I gave up and just used a wired controller. Both of them had this way of randomly tilting the analog control sticks.

I am using the old PS2 (PlayStation) to USB adapter. I bought it from Radio Shack in 2003. I've tried to find a replacement but since the PS2 has lost favor, that is proved near impossible. When I bought a new laptop, I had to find someone who still had a floppy drive since the original drivers came on disk.

A better controller adapter, and the drivers are available for download on the MayFlash web site. Works on Win 7 and Win 8, even without drivers.
