They were questions asked on the Japanese forums by japanese players. I'd assume if we had a similar thing here then we might get similar answers? The thread looks like a "random questions for the developers" thread, it's probably worth starting one here and seeing what happens![]()
While I couldnt really tell with google translation, they were a bunch of random questions about random stuff, not so much suggestions or asking for changes (Though I can't say for sure on that because automatic translations can be pretty far off0
Yes, Almighty Apkallu even got a mention.they were a bunch of random questions about random stuff
The difference being I highly doubt the Developers read the English forums (Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but English is not their primary language). They get information from the Community Team, who does read these forums. There has already been a thread exactly like this, wherein the Community Team apologized for the delay in translation and provided one when it became available.
If there's no translation, it's entirely possible that the response in question had no real content in it, or was deemed unimportant. It's also possible that they are simply compiling the translations of Developer responses for a single "Developer Q&A!" type post, similar to what they did with the FFXI Twitter account. Either way, it's nothing to freak out over when this issue has already been addressed directly by the staff.
I will have my revenge!

Hmm.. maybe we could get bilingual volunteers on both sides of the board to translate interesting topics from either forum to the other side?

You're welcome, OP.
I have it natively in chrome, and while it's usefull for getting the gist of things, it's at times extremely hard to understand what exactly is being said in the thread due to things like grammar differences and terms unique to the game that get translate wrong.
