Server connection lost

Ever since the new update, when I log in on the 360, the game hangs while loading the character, for about 2 minutes, and then after 30 seconds, attempts to load my inventory from the server and times out.

It happens every day, since the update. All I can do is get my login points at this rate.

It's been doing that on PC occasionally too. Sometimes I log in and get a black screen that says loading for about 2-3 minutes.

I was hoping the patch might've ninja fix'd it, but no luck.

Error code: FFXI-4001
No response from the FINAL FANTASY XI server.
Connection timed out.
Press OK to shut down.

EDIT:
Just tried as my mule. No weird long login, no disconnect. Even going to the same zone offers no problems.

I will say my main has a lot of stuff in his inventories, and the server loses connection around the time the game would normally finish loading my inventory.

This happens around AH in East Adoulin for me, different area and different PC yields different problems. Ports are all opened. I think SE lack of support already shows they don't give a crap about this game.
