Unusual Monster Rearing behavior

On occasion, specific combinations of actions with reared monsters in the Mog Garden will cause the wrong monster to give a reaction.

Player details:
Baby Raptor had been fed many Cockatrice Meats and evolved to Adult Raptor before the latest version update
Upon completing Trial of the Chacharoon, began rearing a Sea Monk Larva
Told Chacharoon to focus on the Sea Monk Larva (causing it to appear as primary monster)
Both monsters are on Personal Growth parental style
Both monsters were given names

Examined Sea Monk Larva

Poked Sea Monk Larva
