Question regarding FFXI & uploading recorded material to youtube etc.

    hello everyone.
I have a quick question concerning recorded FFXI videos & platforms like Youtube etc.

I have recently Uploaded a Video of me and my LS mates fighting a Unity NM to Youtube which earlier has been streamed to Twitch.

    To come to my problem,
I got a copyright claim to one of the soundtracks playing in the game, the overworld battle theme.
Reading the Terms of Use i couldn't find anything that would state that i'm not allowed to share Ingame material with their original Audio on Multimedia Platforms, aslong i wouldn't gain a financial benefit from it.

After that i insisted that my right to use this track was just and i confronted the copyright claim, but apperantly the group that sent out the claim still insist on their right.

Now before i go back to them and file a complaint i wanted to ask if anyone in here has faced the same problem before, or if you have any more informations that i could use to my benefit.

If i would give in to the claim i would have to remove the track.in that case i might aswell remove the whole video, i'm not up for mute videos haha

It's not at all uncommon to receive takedown notices for audio on youtube...
    https://www.google.com/search?q=yout...utf-8&oe=utf-8

regardless whether or not the audio can even be copyrighted in the first place...
    https://www.techdirt.com/articles/20...ckground.shtml

tl;dr: It might not even be SE doing the copyright infringement claiming. It could be a totally unrelated 3rd party.

that was my first thought, as i already had read up on this article before.and i get claims alot, but usually they stop trying after i claim my right the first time.
    i was just wondering.

the group that claimed the right btw was "DJLondonBeatZ-Kingdom Riddim-6058" by AdRev for Rights Holder

if it really would be SE asking me to take it down, i'm sure i would recognise their signature

Well, I'm pretty sure you didn't set your youtube video to this song: http://oneplaylist.fm/playlists/djlondonbeatz

So you're probably fine. The question is whether or not you can convince YouTube that you're fine before AdRev successfully gets you taken down. You can Google AdRev and find any number of people that hate them. Some artists and copyright holders have had their own content taken down due to false AdRev copyright claims.

Lol. It almost sounds like this: http://youtu.be/M37HHf099oM

But per my experience with this issue YouTube, it can be disputed. I was one of the unfortunate people to my own content that I created to have a claim put in against but later discover (very shortly after) I was the original author. If that wasn't the case, I was going to have to hire an attorney and sue whomever stole or using my content without consent...especially since I have copyright protection on my work.
