Unable to switch from POL screen to FFXI play

This happens after 09dec update, i am able to log in the playonline viewer, after click "play" from POL, not able to proceed to FFXI screen, keep returning to the POL screen, the game wont proceed.

anyone can help, please.

Just curious is if this the issue they had with the antivirus programs removing an ffxi.dii file preventing it from loading ffxi might be your issue. if your using windows 8 or 8.1 up to pro version operating systems then there is zam.com/old allakhazam page that states what you need to do to get ffxi to run on the windows 8 types of operating systems and I've forgotten where it was there but did a search to find it when I installed ffxi on my windows 8.1 pro operating system on my laptop. hope that helps and hope you find the link and post it here later on.

thanks, but it does not seems to work, i have tried re-installation and remove all the antivirus, my system runs on windows 7 now

You've even tried the setting run this program in an earlier windows OS support mode as well?? SE phone support wasn't much help, I take it as well? <-They weren't much help for me at the time I was having problem's getting it to work on my system when I first installed it on my alienware laptop as well in which I took to Google search to see what I could find that might help me resolve the issues I was having with it in my laptop at that time!
