    Unable to update

    I just started back on FFXI and everytime I go to play it says "Checking FFXI version" after a couple of seconds I get error code POL-12321 if this problem occurs you can report it in service and support. Only problem is it won't let me report anything. I have played FFXI for years on my x-box and have never had this trouble. Can anyone help?

    Dude check the other topics, you have tons of US players not even able to log in.

    I realize there are tons of players not able to log in, I also realize there are many different reasons. The main reason I'm seeing is unable to obtain content id. This is not my situation so I thought it best to post the error code and see if anyone else had the same issue.

    Subzerorevenge,

    We apologize for the problems you are experiencing. If you receive an error of POL – 12321 when trying to start FINAL FANTASY XI, this indicates that the installation data for PlayOnline and FINAL FANTASY XI has become corrupted on the Xbox360. This can be caused by improperly exiting from the game.

    Unfortunately once the data has been corrupted, the only resolution is to uninstall and reinstall the FINAL FANTASY XI software. Please refer to your manual for instructions on how to do so.
