    PLD Magic Damage + Physical Damage

    Is there cap on PLD for physical damage and magic damage?

    I believe you mean magical and physical damage taken. The cap is 50% for both magical and physical damage taken; however, an item such as Aegis is Magic Damage Taken II -50% which does not count towards the 50% cap which can bring it to 87.5%.

    Also Burtgang has PDT II which will allow pld to get up to -68% and shield blocks are factored separately from PDT so can allow you to effectively go farther
