Steps: 1. After accepting the unity concord, my linkshell was turned into a linkpearl.
2. After contacthing through the in-game service I was told through an automated message to post in this forum for further details.

Again to state, this was a Linkshell that was turned into a Linkpearl. Linkshell name is Machina. Also I would like to state that moving this to a forum where you cannot reply as a non-mod or admin and asking for a reply is kinda bad form.

It looks like you should (if you haven't yet) contact a gamemaster in-game in case you are experiencing problems with recovering a pearlsack or linkshell:

We would like to give an update on the situation regarding the current emergency maintenance.

We have confirmed an issue wherein after Nov. 9, 2014 22:30 (PST), if you change areas, there is a chance that Linkshells and Pearlsacks will turn into Linkpearls and thus we determined to execute an emergency maintenance.

We will continue to investigate and address the issue. However, it appears that recovery may take some time. We will keep you updated on any new developments.

If your Pearlsack has turned into a Linkpearl, this may be fixed through returning it to a sack. However, if there are situations where it is difficult returning it to a Pearlsack or the Linkshell has changed in any way, please contact a GM for further assistance.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your patience.

Loire tried to contact a GM but got an automated script. It is very difficult to contact a GM in game when there are none responding to GM calls. I will echo how upsetting it is that we have lost our linkshell from this glitch. I sincerely hope that this can be resolved.

Same issue as above, but I had an actual GM talk to me. I was told to post here in the bug reports about my current issue with as much detail as possible. After the update I joined the Unity stuff right away and I noticed that my Linkshell was turned into a pearl. There were a few others I talked to before the emergency maintenance who also had their sacks turned into pearls. After the emergency maintenance, I contacted a GM right away since the issue wasn't resolved, and I was directed to submit the bug here. Hopefully there will be some form of fix to this soon!

I had the feeling that they might be telling people to post here, but I seriously hoped they wouldn't, since it's a bit funny (in a horrible way) that they would tell players to come here even though here they are told to go to them. ^^;

Be that as it may, I'm confident'ish that the issue will be resolved sooner rather than later.

Ok, I contacted a GM and he said I will be put on a list where they will contact me in the future when there is a fix.... So that means I'll probably have to just remake it :/

I bet if you tried to re-make it now you would not be able to pick the same name. Might want to just wait it out.

Yeah, I mean we would have to pick a new name. I asked him if they couldn't find a fix if they could just delete the shell so I keep the name but he said they will find it. Then he said they will escalate my issue to a senior GM but that was probably just to shut me up. We'll see I suppose.
