Request for sane, non-luck-based alternative to Defending Ring

toss 25% in your ring slots and you can dedicate your other PDT slots to better gear

and with that logic, lets just jack mule prices up to $2 a piece and increase the base cost to $15

Mule/sub fee increase hurts everyone though, most ppl won't accept it. No company in the mind would to that to a 12 year old MMO. Now it's kinda "if you want more chance for a Dring you gonna pay more".

I know it worked cuz I know some ppl did paid for mules just for shanks, and it's pretty much the only item that's worth getting with points atm if you're not a returning player.

The sane, non luck-based alternative to d.ring is.. drumroll.. playing the game with less DT-.

You aren't owed every drop in the game, or an equivalent. It's completely attainable right now, it's just tedious for some people.

Not sure about an alternative (if you wanted to be objective you could argue that dark rings ARE the alternative), but more than one ??? for behe/kb pops would be lovely.

Get a 6/6/6 dark ring. Bam you get almost as much pdt, capping mdt is easy enough anyways and thanks to the weirdness that is augments you actually get more bdt than dring

I know people who were 0/250~ on both the Ebisu KIs btw, and those fish take a while to catch or gil to buy..

I think the record from back in the was around 1800 per fish so yeah it can get really crazy. Plus at least Dring is still useful Ebisu is mostly a trophy item since they nerfed fishing so hard

i'd take a pair of enemy critrate-3/pdt-6/bdt-6 dark rings over defending anyday, good luck finding that though
