Can we have an item that is perhaps an upgrade to the long-standing defending ring?
Thank you.

You can easily cap PDT- with a 15% ring though, making D ring a lot less attractive. Atm it's not very easy to cap PDT- without a Dring, so everyone would toss gil/points to get one.
I don't understand why's mule count/extra income not a good reason, if SE makes money, more resource goes into this game and vice versa.
Mule/sub fee increase hurts everyone though, most ppl won't accept it. No company in the mind would to that to a 12 year old MMO. Now it's kinda "if you want more chance for a Dring you gonna pay more".
I know it worked cuz I know some ppl did paid for mules just for shanks, and it's pretty much the only item that's worth getting with points atm if you're not a returning player.
I just wish they would do away with this shared drop slot nonsense. Then again I'm clearly biased as it would make treasure hunter more useful.
Why does it even have to be an upgrade? Why not just another 10% ring obtained from a different source? That seems more reasonable to ask for then for a ring that's even stronger then one people are willing to pay tens of millions of gil and/or significant amounts of rl money for.
more than likely the only way se would give something again like the Dring would probably be a set item somthing like ring1: +50hp ring2:def +25 set effect: Dt-15, wich would still give Dring a use for flexablity but the combo would be stronger for purely lowering incoming dmg.
I just spent 4000 login points on 23 characters for a total of 92 beastly shanks, which resulted in 18 savory shanks.
I am currently 0/51 for d.ring. :/
This is stupid. I don't even consider d.ring farming to be content.
