    Final Fantasy XI on PS3

    Anyway I can download the game to PS3 or do I need a copy of PS2 to play it?
    Can't see the game on PS3 PSN network, Does the PS3 have steam App?

    I have the 1st PS3 the big block one lol

    There never was a FFXI version that is compatible with Playstation 3, so you will not find it in the PSN store.

    FFXI will also only work if your playstation 3 is backwards compatible and plays other PS2 games.
    If so, you will need the game's original installation disks to run it. Otherwise, you're kind of out of luck.

    As for the PS3 you have, that sais very little unfortunately. They brought out several series with that model and only very few batches of Playstation 3 consoles had that backwards compatibillity.
