    Customer service run around

    So today I talked to customer service about another account that was banned for rmting it didn't do 4 months ago. After submitting a unauthorized access report I never got an email back. Considering this account pretty much only interacts with my other accounts it should have been an easy check to see I wasn't rmting.

    Eventually thru repeated contacting of customer service 2 months ago I was told it was getting rolled back. Then today I asked again what was taking so long and told that it is permabanned and nothing can change that. When I asked to talk to someone about the details since I can explain any suspicious activity they said "The investigation concluded that this account will remain banned and there isn't anybody who will be able to tell you otherwise. I do apologize you never received our contact emails but from here on out if you would like to continue to play FFXIV, you will have to purchase the game again and make a new account although we cannot guarantee any new accounts won't also be banned for association. As it seems you have no other new issues I can assist you with, I will be removing you from chat at this time. Thank you for visiting the SQUARE ENIX Support Center! Take care." And immediately disconnected.

    So went thru support again and was told that the only people who know details are GMs and that I had to contact one in game and there was nothing else and disconnected.

    So I talked to a [GM] who was a bit more helpful actually went back a few times looking stuff up for me. And informed me that I had been informed wrong and only the stf has the details and all I could do was either try to talk to customer support for appeal again and most likely get the same answers and disconnect or fill out a game recovery request. The GM then helped show me where to go to fill out another game recovery request to see if that will help and suggested I leave feedback about this in the official forums in the subforum that best fits or general. So here it is

    Needless to say experience was rather disappointing especially in light of the salvage wrist slaps and outside of the GM there was a general lack of even an attempt to help and whole go play ffxiv but watch out you might get banned by association seems rather snarky.

    Se customer service sucks and everyone knows it, they do nothing but give customers the run around.

    I know it's like they don't even care at all.... but really galls me is banning for something that I know they can't prove because it didn't happen and they wont tell me details so I can readily clear up whatever it is they thought was suspicious meanwhile they let people position hack all over salvage taking advantage of what was clearly of something SE overlooked (not really there fault since there is no legit way to accomplish it) to repeatedly kill bosses, literally making hundreds of millions or enough alex for a mythic a week and just a couple day suspension. Well that and the knowledge that no one who knows anything will ever respond

    Sucks to hear Dasva. :/ Wonder how they miscommunicated that it was getting rolled back. Could of come to terms with it by now, but you've been in limbo for months under the assumption that it was being fixed.
