Details:
Beginning since the latest version update, I receive various errors such as "POL-1341", "POL-1363", "POL-0011" when trying to log into the game. It seriously takes over 30 minutes to log in due to the packet loss. After I finally get into the game, it seems to work okay except for search features (even though it is somewhat lagged). I live on the east coast so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.
There are no issues whatsoever to any web sites or servers other than the Square Enix ones. This only happens with servers related to the game.

Try to log into the game or visit the forum.
